Continued breezy and cool as a low pressure system is now parked over Washington and Oregon. Today looks to be the windiest (particularly in Mono County) as the system sets up a thermal pressure gradient belt between the Mojave Desert and the Great Basin. Winds of 15 – 25 mpg G 40 are possible today and tonight for Mono County. Winds then relax a bit on Thursday. By Friday the low will begin to drift north, but general troughiness will be in place through the weekend. Thus locally breezy afternoons and evening are possible Saturday and Sunday. Temps will settle up into the normal range by the Holiday Weekend.
