FRIDAY 13-JAN-2012

Upper ridging continues its trend in giving us dry weather and above normal temps. We will be dry through the weekend and into the first part of next week. On Saturday, an upper low drops down into British Columbia and brings cooler air to our forecast area on Sunday. Along with this, the winds will pick up on Sunday in Mono County. So now on to Wednesday and Thursday of  next week. Right now it does look like the storm track will drop down as far as Oregon and maybe NORCAL. Depending on how far it sags, Mammoth could pick up a slight chance of precipitation on Thursday. The rest of the Central and Southern Sierra look to remain dry, at this time. So stay tuned for updates right hear on the SierraWave and www.easternsierraforecast.com.
