THURSDAY 26-JAN-2012
We have Spring like conditions, as an ever strengthening ridge of high pressure off the coast, brings generally dry weather to our district through early next week. There will be a few shortwaves riding over the top of that ridge, one tonight, then Sunday and Tuesday. Theses systems, moving to our north, will bring in some clouds and breezes, but no precipitation is expected. The only exception is Mono County with a slight chance of isolated showers tonight. Right now the long range forecast models are still hinting at dry weather for the next 7 – 10 days.
