FORECAST: The Owens Valley, Mammoth & Mono County

Splitting system still due in today, but a little later than expected. Mono County looks to receive its moisture this afternoon into early Monday morning. While the Owens Valley will have about a 40% – 60% chance of rain this afternoon into the evening. Of course, gusty winds will accompany the systems arrival. With all of this Mammoth Mountain could pick up 4 – 8 inches of new snow by Monday morning. Clearing skies for Inyo County on Monday, while Mono County looks to stay a bit unsettled from another upper low to move in about Wednesday.
UPDATE 1:49 pm: Storm is slowly pushing to the south with Mammoth receiving a few flurries. Not much going on yet, but the winds, in the Owens Valley.
