FORECAST 26-MAR-12
FORECAST: The Owens Valley, Mammoth and Mono County
By: Dennis Mattinson, Weather & Atmospheric Forecaster
MONDAY 26-MAR-2012
Mammoth Mountain picked up 6 inches of new snow last night and the Whites and Inyo’s also got a little. All due to a weak upper trof which has just passed through this morning. Slight chance of precept over the mountains this morning as well. A complex stream of moisture still exists off the PACNW coast and this will send shortwaves to our north most of the week. On Tuesday night and Wednesday a SW will drop far enough south to give Mono County a chance at light snow, while the Owens Valley just gets clouds. Otherwise, mainly dry conditions with warming temps through the week.
