FORECAST: The Owens Valley, Mammoth and Mono County

Weak high pressure brings a day of nice weather with light winds. Short lived though, as a mostly dry front kicks through the district with winds ahead of the front tonight and tomorrow in Mono County. Thereafter a slight chance of showers in Mono County on Thursday before the front clears the area. Windy conditions until then for both counties. By Friday we are back to nice Spring weather, but a little cooler than norm, then warming into the weekend.
FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:
Today: Mainly sunny then a few clouds tonight. Highs 69 – 74 and lows 44 – 49. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny then mostly clear in the evening. Highs 68 – 73 and lows 36 – 41. Winds W 10 mph G 20.
FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:
Today: Partly sunny becoming partly cloudy tonight. Highs 57 and lows 28. Winds becoming SW 15 – 20 mph G 35.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy overnight. Highs 41 and lows 17. Winds SW 20 mph G 30.
FOR MONO COUNTY:
Today: Partly cloudy becoming mostly cloudy tonight. Highs 59 – 64 and lows 27 – 32. Winds becoming SW 15 – 25 mph G 45.
Wednesday: Slight chance of light snow here and there then mostly cloudy in the evening. Highs 45 – 50 and lows 15 – 35. Winds W 10 -20 mph G 30.
