TUESDAY 10-APR-2012
Nice early Spring weather yesterday, will make way for two winter-like storm systems to pass thru our district the rest of this week. The first tonight into Wednesday and the second Thursday into Friday. Thus cool, windy and unsettled weather is in store for both Inyo and Mono Counties. The coldest of the two systems looks to arrive Thursday into Friday before clearing the area on Saturday night. Right now, my best estimates for snow fall over the Crest is 12 – 24 + inches of new snow when all is said and done. High pressure builds in on Sunday with temps warming up sharply on Monday.
FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:
Today: Mainly sunny becoming mostly cloudy tonight. 20% chance of rain showers overnight. Highs 68 – 73 and lows 42 – 47. Winds increasing S 25 – 30 mph G 45.
Wednesday: Cloudy with a 70% chance of rain showers. Highs 56 – 61 and lows 36 – 41. Winds S 10 – 20 mph G 35.
FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:

Wednesday: 80% chance of snow showers becoming 40% tonight. Highs 32 and lows 20. Winds W 10 – 15 mph.
FOR MONO COUNTY:
