Upper ridge of high pressure off the Central California coast will provide dry and gradually warming conditions through the weekend. Now, a series of shortwaves will pass thru the PACNW this week, giving us partly cloudy skies and thats about all. By next weekend (if not sooner), temps really begin to warm up with the mid 80s for the Owens Valley and the mid 60s for Mammoth.
FOR THE OWENS VALLEY:
Today: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy in the evening. Highs around 66 – 71 and lows 42 – 47. Winds S 10 – 15 mph.
Tuesday: Mainly sunny then partly cloudy in the evening. Highs 72 – 77 and lows 45 – 50. Winds SE 5 – 10 mph.
FOR THE TOWN OF MAMMOTH LAKES:
Today: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy in the evening . Highs around 53 and lows 34. Winds W 5 – 10 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny then partly cloudy overnight. Highs 57 and lows 35. Winds W 5 – 10 mph.
FOR MONO COUNTY:
Today: Partly cloudy. Highs 57 – 67 and lows 30 – 35. Winds W 10 mph.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Highs 61 – 66 and lows 31 – 36. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
