“Giving you the reasons why Eastern Sierra weather happens.”

SATURDAY June 16, 2012

High pressure nudges that low southward, the one that created some t-storm activity over the Crest on Friday. As it does, breezes will pick up here and there and temperatures will be on the move upward. By Sunday the Owens Valley could see 100 degrees and Mono County the mid 80s. Shortwave energy then disrupts the ridge on Monday and Tuesday for a slight dip in temps. By Wednesday the ridge pushes back and temps see-saw in an upward again.

And for you folks heading to Southern Mexico, Tropical Storm Carlotta continues to intensify in a rapid fashion. Theres already a Hurricane Watch for Southwestern Mexico.
