FRIDAY June 29, 2012

The western edge of an upper level ridge continues to impact our area today. Thus sunny skies and normal daytime highs. Then over the weekend, slight cooling will take place as an upper level low moves thru the PACNW and Northern California. Ridging then re-asserts itself on Monday, warming things up thru Thursday. Daytime highs for the 4th of July look to be about 97 degrees for the Owens Valley and the mid 80s for Mono County. There is a slight chance of some Monsoonal moisture working its way in from the SE next Thursday or Friday, so stay tuned for updates.
