MONDAY 30-JAN-2012
As the ridge off the West Coast remains firm, a few weak cold fronts will move over its top this week. This will bring in a little cooler air and come clouds. The chances of precipitation look nil. The ridge actually amplifies mid week (spreading as far as NW Canada) and this will bring a continuation of dry weather through this weekend. This blocking ridge will shear apart any system that runs into it. Right the long range forecast models are saying below normal precipitation for the first 7 days of February.
